In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".

All expansion packs including Snowy Escape, all game packs except Journey to Batu, and Backyard stuff, Fitness stuff, Kids room stuff, Laundry day, My First Pet Stuff, Tiny Living, Toddler Stuff, Vintage Glamour Stuff, and the free Holiday Celebration pack.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just launch the game, and enter a save.
What happens when the bug occurs? I get stuck on the loading screen with the spinning plumbob, and It never loads. I can create a new game and go into CAS but when I finish and it asks me what residential world I want to live in, it is just white, and there are no world icons to choose from.
What do you expect to see? I expect it to load and see the world my sim lives in in that save, or when I exit CAS for the first time in a new save I expect to see the world Icons.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It happened a while after the platform patch, but I used platforms for a while, then the bug happened. The bug fix patch did not fix it.

@FOMARTEMIS--exit the game and try repairing it through Origin (right-click on it in your library, and choose 'repair' from the options that will appear).
