[WORKAROUND] 11.17.20 patch - game won't stop loading

@FOMARTEMIS--exit the game and try repairing it through Origin (right-click on it in your library, and choose 'repair' from the options that will appear).

After last update version my game doesn't run at all, it take a long time to load. I cant start even a new game. What is happening?

my problem is that I can easily come to the Sims-screen from Origin on my mac, but when i click on the play buttom my screen won't stop loading. What's the problem? And, yes I hav restarted my computer and Origin a couple of times but nothing happens. I've had this trouble for two days now and tried everything. Please help me, I really want to plays sims.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.68.156.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Vampires, Realm of Magic, Dine Out
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Creating a new character and attempting to place them into a world
What happens when the bug occurs? After creating the character, you cannot select the world to place them in and when you try to save the character, it doesn't work and the character is no longer in the save files.
What do you expect to see? After creating a character, I would expect to see the worlds to choose from and be able to have my character be saved properly
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
