[WORKAROUND] Pointer clicks off-target on Macs with display camera notch

Hi!

Just received my new MacBook pro with an M1 Pro, and the first thing I did, was open sims 4, but alas, it's extremely buggy and runs on Rosetta 2. Just hoping you guys would push out an update soon for it! thanks

There are a couple of workarounds to this issue for users with the camera notch in their Mac display:

    1. Look for The Sims 4.app in Applications.  Right-click the app > Get Info.  Then check the box for "Scale to fit below built-in camera" (thank you @SimQARobo)
    2. Play in Windowed mode instead of fullscreen
    3. Set the resolution to 3024x1890 in fullscreen

@cleeve1972  Please try playing in windowed mode rather than fullscreen.

Please also let me know whether your computer runs Windows or macOS.  This was a common problem when Macs with the camera notch were first introduced and has a simple workaround, but that doesn't apply to Windows PCs.

I’m experiencing an issue where the clickable areas of the buttons do not align with where the buttons are visually displayed. I have to move my cursor to the very bottom of a button, or slightly below where the button is displayed, for the game to register the click. This makes some buttons at the bottom of the screen very difficult or impossible to use, as there is no space below them to click. I have already tried switching between fullscreen and windowed mode, restarting the game, repairing the game through the EA app, changing the UI scale/button size, changing my Mac display settings, and resetting the Options.ini file. None of these has fixed the issue. I do not currently have any mods installed, so the issue occurs in an unmodded game.
