£500 under laptop recs for The Sims 4 play! UK/Black Friday deals

Hello!  I currently use a HP 255 G7 Notebook which I've had for a few years and ran The Sims 4 totally fine (on max settings too, just got a bit hot!)  but she's now reaching the end of her life and is literally held together with gaffa tape. I need it to do all usual bits and bobs, but any laptop can do that.  I need it to run The Sims 4, I don't use all extension packs, but want the option there. But I know utterly NOTHING about laptops. I know my current one has Ryzen 3 and Radeon graphics. There's currently a LOT of deals right now for Black Friday especially at Currys and I've been looking at these which have been hugely reduced in price in the sales. I was holding out on saving up for a bit longer, but my currently laptop is truly dying.  https://www.currys.co.uk/products/acer-swift-3-14-laptop-amd-ryzen-7-1-tb-ssd-silver-10254647.html  https://www.currys.co.uk/products/acer-aspire-5-15.6-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-512-gb-ssd-grey-10251047.html  and have tried googling, but I get so completely overwhelmed with information and choice! There are other specs I care about (lightweight, battery, backlit keyboard) which these have but anything else I am genuinely clueless about. I got a U in GCSE IT. Appalling.  Thank you so much!

    @walshlette

    The ACER Swift 3 14" Laptop - AMD Ryzen 7, 1 TB SSD, Silver is by far the best choice of the two. Better CPU and iGPU twice as much RAM and SSD. So if you don't mind that it is only 14" go for it. @puzzlezaddict might be able to come with other recommendations.
