“requires cats and dogs”

hi i need help. i’ve recently downloaded sims 4 newest update. i do use mods but have taken them off as most of them need to be updated so i’ve removed the whole mods folder. i go onto sims 4 and i cant play any game without it saying “requires cats and dogs” and basically all the packs i have installed. it says a reset is required and that it’s “needed to ensure all the packs for this save is enabled” and so on. the amount of times i’ve reset the game and nothing has happened???? i’ve even repaired the game on origin. please help i have no clue what to do now???

    @yeetjess 

    Mods and CC you installed allowed you to use something from C&D removing those meant that you can no longer start the save. Create a new save until there is an update from the creators.
