2d trees and pop in textures
Ive noticed that on some lots when editing a sim in cas and then exiting CAS mode the tree textures on the lot wont load properly and they turn 2d , also noticed that sim textures are not loading fas...

@sunsetvalley The symptoms you've described would be unsurprising if they were happening on a computer with a slower graphics card or chip, but your GPU is fast enough that I'd expect it not to have these issues. Still, the card is somewhat old by now. Have you seen any other signs it's not handling the same workload as before? Have you cleaned it recently or at least checked it for dust and made sure the fans can spin?
At the very least, please check the Task Manager's Processes tab while you're playing to see how hot your card gets. It's best to check right when the game loads and again after at least 20 minutes. Let me know what GPU load you see as well.
I'd also suggest disabling post processing and playing in fullscreen (as opposed to "windowed fullscreen") to see whether it makes a difference. Change the settings and then quit and reload for full effect.
The game runs fine otherwise , funny thing is while watching a game changers early access video of high school years she came across the same issue with the 2d trees, so maybe it’s the game . Now that you mention it i haven’t cleaned my pc in a while , ill definitely check the fans , game settings and task manager , Thank you again so much for your help !
