Accidentally overwrote current sims 4 saves with old ones
Hi! I’ve been playing the Sims 4 on a windows PC since 2019, and two other computers previously. Earlier this year I wanted to look at old save files from 2017 that I had previously thought were lost...
@claire_feather Are there any saves in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves that have dates corresponding to the missing saves? What about in OneDrive, if you use it?
You can also search your computer: open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, and enter Slot_ in the search bar in the upper right corner. This will turn up any and all saves on your computer; check the dates to distinguish among them. If you do find a missing save, click on it, click "Open file location," and you'll land in the folder where that save is. From there, you can move that save and any others you find back to the correct saves folder.
