Added old CC file to game... update children were headless/all had amber eyes

I have used very minimal cc for a long time now since having a lot of cc used to slow down my game. I just got a new laptop so I wanted to add in some cc I used to use. I still had my old giant mods folder so I added in wedding dresses and beards. Immediately after I added the folders in, I randomized a child genetically and realized they had no head. I did fix that by removing both the old folders. Went back into game to make sure kids had heads again and see they have the dreaded amber eyes. Randomized sims also have ea eyes despite my default replacement. I removed the default replacements thinking they’re the issue but children still had amber eyes. Removed all cc (kept mods in mc command center) and kids eyes back to normal. I readded cc (without a couple new recently released files I downloaded), cc that I have been using with absolutely no issue through many patches mind you, and amber eyes are there. I reset the cache and the Amber eyes are still there. I’m tired and stressed. This is ruining my sims wedding day!! Just wanted them to have a nice wedding dress but now I feel like there’s a virus in my game!! Please help thank you!!

Update: I did a factory reset. Amber eyes are still there. Also I have realized not just child sims are affected but adults too. It is only with new sims who are in cas. None of my existing sims are having their eyes changed. But this now means I can't properly make any new households. I decided to just have my wedding anyways cause I was tired of waiting.

Update 2: I found a comment on a reddit thread where someone commented that this happens when you flag a default eye replacement as disabled for random. I had ran some cc as disabled for random the other day and the reason I hadn't found the issue til now was I wasn't in cas often. Unfortunately just discovered this at the wrong place in the wrong time. Hope this can help someone else who may encounter this issue!! I repeat do not disable default eyes or cc in general for random generation!!! This has been a warning!!!

After each update, most scripts mods and a large part CC will be spoiled and will spoil the game. Before you download something you have to check on the page of mods creator if these mods and CC are not too old. Checking what broke down this time after the patch, and replacing these broken ones by a new updated version or deleting these is the price the player pays for using CC and mods. So simply you have some outdated CC causing it.
    1. Move the mods folder to the desktop.
    2. Find and delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder. Delete also all folders with the word "cache" in the name.
    3. Fix the game in Origin.
    Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
    4. Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder and check if the game is working now properly without mods
    5. Check if there are new updated versions of the mods and CC you are using.
Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods one by one every time checking if the game is OK.
Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)
