After Orgin update, when opening the Sims 4 I get a small green window

I just went to play my Sims 4. I received a Orgin notice for an update. After the update I went to double click my Sims 4 icon and instead of the normal start up intro screen etc, I ended up with a small green window in the corner of my desktop. With on the option to mininze or X to close it.

Which version of Origin are you using ? Did you guys opt in the beta version ?

Could you do an Origin report and put the id here: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-use-origin-error-reporting/

Once you've done that, try to turn off Origin in game to see if it then works: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/deactivate-origin-in-game/

That helped. Now Sims 4 works.

I turned Origin off in-game and voila! It worked! I don't use origin in-game anyways 🙂

Please do an Origin Error report then turn off Origin in game.
