So I checked my game and see the following
Human, Vampire, Mermaid
Aliens (Undisgiused)
Spellcaster
Does that differ from your game if you don't have mods ?
I can confirm that without mods my CAS skin tones match your pictures, so it's definitely a mod or CC!?
Wish I cold narrow it down more. Going to have to try and test different mods and CC out the game.
Thank you for helping me confirm that it's a mod/cc problem and not something else.

Use the 50/50 method: http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Finding_Problem_Custom_Content- 5 years ago
Hello, I’m having the same problem. Did you find out which mod it was?

I'm having the same problem, it's weird that it only affects the aliens and nothing else. I've tried disabling mods and testing, but I have hundreds of mods now so it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. But fortunately, the randomizer at the bottom still produces new skin tones which is a good workaround.
- 5 years ago@EmmaB86 Trying that now. Took out 50% of my CC and the proper alien skintones are back.
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@Smthrs78877 So then you need to find the cc skin that's causing it :D
- 5 years ago@crinrict After testing for 2 hours straight, conclusion: The following CC caused base game skintones to not properly display:
LunarEclipse-NudeSkinsets[…]AlienEP01_DefaultOverrides.package
(and)
LunarEclipse-ymTattoo[…]CASTexturePack_ALIENSET.package
Additionally, Melanin Pack 1 & 2 CC are defaulting for aliens not just humans, but the options don’t disappear from CAS with “Melanin Pack”
