Alien townies look like regular sims

The aliens blend in to the humans so that's normal, they use their disguise. The skin tone seems to be coming from the parents, at least that's what I see in the screenshots.
I am aware that they can use disguise. But as you can see the "alien" doesnt have a green, blue, pink or white skin stone. No alien eyes. The lower part of her portrait should display her alien form.
With the 'Alien' sim in this posts screenshot you can see that I can still make her disguise.

So I moved the 'townie' on a lot. And removed her disguise. The alien form appeared!
But shouldn't her Alien form appear in the edit a Sim (the manage world)? I'd check that and now she is an Alien, but her disguised is different?![Also I dont use any mods or cc.]
I'm not 100% sure if that would be intended. Could you make a new post in the bug forum?
