All of a sudden dedicated video RAM isnt enough?

Ive had sims 4 for 2 years now and only two other games on my computer, they have all been working fine for 2 years. all of a sudden my gam continuously crashes and its unplayable, so i looked up on ...

I did a bit more digging and i found out that i do have enough dv RAM, but on 'can i run it' it says i only have like 48. it must be that something else is taking up the space or i need to delete some stuff to clear up space, i just dont know what i have to do in order to make room. @crinrict

      You only have 96 MB of VRAM and your processor is also a bit low in specs

      Do you have any expansion packs or just the base game ?

        @crinrict yes i have all of the expansion packs and a few game packs. I dont understand how my game could have run so smoothly if i never had enough vram.
