All of the sims, played and unplayed, were deleted
One day i was adding cc, i have thousands. I finally got the cc working so i decided to play my household ive been working on for MONTHS ( i didnt back up anything ik im dumb). I quit and saved the game for the night to wake up the next morning with nothing. My cc was still in the game but when i went to the worlds it was empty. When i hovered over lots it said the names of the households "Frias, Goths, ETC." but there was nobody in them. I quit my game and repaired it; same thing happened. I reinstalled my game; same thing happened. I clicked my recent household, Frias and clicked the edit household where you go to CAS. A new base sim appeared, not the ones i created. I looked at the goths, went into CAS for them, nobody was there except a base CAS sim. When hovering over households it just loads a sim which isnt there. The night before the problem occured i cleared alot of storage on my computer using omni disk sweeper which is a good application and hasn't done any harm to me. I never went to delete things from my applications or my sims folder, nothing involving sims. I decided to try and get past it and make a new household. It showed up at the house and i wanted them to move. Every single household had the family i made. I have no idea what happened and i plan on ordering the pets pack and i really want to play it soooooo i need my sims to work ive tried everything i could come up with.
Are you sure you didn't' start a new game by accident ? Do you see other saves when you choose load instead of the play button ?
Do you still have older saves in this folder: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\saves ?
