Application Ts4_exe has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware
My game has recently started having this error, and it means I cant play the game as it just freezes and I have to restart my computer in order to close the game. I have tried updating my driver and I have also tried other techniques mentioned online and nothing is working. I have also tried reinstalling the game completely, adding in a config file because my graphics card wasn't recognized and nothing has worked. Game was working fine, this problem has come as of Friday. I have also attached my dxdiag file. Any suggestions are appreciated!
@am0ne If you have a third-party antivirus installed, please disable it entirely and test. As long as you're only opening Sims 4 and the EA App, your computer should be safe. If you don't think you have one installed, or aren't sure, please check the Task Manager's background processes list anyway: many prebuilt desktops come with an antivirus already installed.
If your antivirus is the issue, you can set exceptions for TS4_x64.exe and EADesktop.exe and see whether it helps.
If this doesn't make a difference, or you don't have a third-party antivirus, please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the graphics driver, as described here:
