@roberta591 Thanks you, I just noticed that the guy that set up the pc made the disk with only 200Gb as the local disk, while there is an extra 1.8Tb harddrive being unused.. not sure why he did that when its a gaming setup. Would there be any way to fix this?
@butterpie24 There are too many things that happen on the system device (C). At this point if you are set on having a ssd as the system device right now would be the best time to get a larger device. I recommend at least 500Gb for the system device. The sooner you do this the less painful it will be. As free space becomes less and less (because Windows operating system bloats - that's what it does) you will have more and more issues. If you get a larger ssd you may be able to image the one you are using to the new larger drive. You can not image a ssd to a hard drive nor can you image a hard drive to a ssd. You have to use like technology. There are several programs that will do this. You could try a backup and restore method. I'm presently using a WD 1Tb black label hard drive and have no reason to upgrade right now. Maybe on my next gaming computer build. The processor is an AMD FX-6100 which I was going to upgrade to a FX-6300 but I haven't had any issues so far. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
