@roberta591 Thanks you, I just noticed that the guy that set up the pc made the disk with only 200Gb as the local disk, while there is an extra 1.8Tb harddrive being unused.. not sure why he did that when its a gaming setup. Would there be any way to fix this?
He did that because it is the right way to do it.
The KINGSTON 240GB SSD is much faster than the 1.8TB standard hard drive, and you want the fastest drive in the system to be the system drive.
You don't need a bigger SSD, the 240GB drive is just fine.
What you should do is to store other games, Programs or other files that take much space at the 1.8TB HDD.
If you have the Sims installed to your SSD you can leave it there. There is enough space free on that drive.
It is not the source of your problem.
Did you reinstalled the game and is it still asking for the Legacy Edition?
@holger1405 I reinstalled the game and in the installation list it had the legacy edition. I cancelled the installation for that. Do I just copy the program files over to the hardrive?

No, Origin has a function for this.
- Create a folder named "Origin Games 2" in the root of the 1.8TB Hard drive.
- Right click on the TS4 cover in the Origin game library. > "Move Game".
- Navigate to the "Origin Games 2" folder you just created. > Confirm.
- Now Origin will move the Game files to the new location.
But as said, there is enough space free on your SSD, so you don't need to do that now.
The game will load faster from your SSD.
If you add more new packages you might need to do it at some Point.
The important thing is that you install new Games or Programs directly to your 1.8TB HDD.
You can't just move them once they are installed.
(You can choose the install location in Origin, Steam or any other game launcher and at most installers for Programs, here you just need to change the drive letter from C: to the letter of the 1.8TB HDD, without changing the rest of the installation path.)
So did you installed the standard Edition?

@holger1405 I installed the standard edition. Just now I took out all the mods from my mods folder in the game and the game opened somehow, just a bit laggy. I'm still looking for a way to keep my mods since I'm used to having them.
