Audio working but volume goes up and down randomly

What happens when the bug occurs? I have looked for a similar problem in the postings for Sims 4 but did not see this issue. If there is a post already, my apologies. The issue I am having with sims 4 now is with the audio. The audio in my game works, but the volume of the audio randomly drops down very low for a few minutes and then increases back to normal. Other than that the game is working fine. No problems with audio outside of Sims 4.
What do you expect to see? I want the audio to work properly like it did before the latest patch.
