Auto Run will not show up plus the steps in the book are not working :(

Hello I am trying to install The sims 4 and I put the disc into my computer and nothing popped up. So I followed the steps in the book - open run type E:\AutoRun.exe - and tried D:\ as well - same thing nothing is found. Any ideas? 

I am on a PC windows 8.

    1. Go to your metro tiled view by pressing the window key
    2. Start typing: Computer
    3. Right click on your dvd drive and choose open
    4. Find a file called something with setup.exe (not sure what it's called) and double click on that to install.

    @lucyalannah Did you ever figure out how to do it? I'm also trying to install sims with windows 10 but auto run isn't working.

    Hello, I tried this but I can't seem to find the dvd drive, btw I'am on pc windows 10.
