Baby Aging to toddler wont work X appears over Baby sim icon

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a baby at the hospital then come home wait till it says almost baby birthday then age up the baby. if u dont encounter the glitch then throw a dinner party and age up the baby then cause the times it happend to me where when i was throwing a dinner party as if it was the baby's birthday. I really hope u guys can fix this cause i really love that save i was playing in and hope this getts patched soon ☹️
What happens when the bug occurs? I started encountering it after i gave birth at the hospital and this happend https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-GTW-Doctor-Career-Surgery-Animation-broken-T-Posing/m-p/10538288#M191650 (link to the forum bug report) so anyways i came hme with my baby and i tired to change the basinet colour and it just glitched and it stayed the same none of the colour swatches worked which i didnt mind but i encounterd the real probleme when trying to age my sim into a toddler which is when the bassinet disapperd and a red X appeared over my baby that i was trying to age up. Which is when i was weired out and exited the game without saving and reopened it and tried to age up my baby again same thing happend.
What do you expect to see? For my baby to age up to a toddler without the bassinet deleting and and X over the baby icon

Please describe the patch or change you made. I belive it was after the pond tool patch update/ when cottage living came out
