Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to Batuu as a vacation. Order food or drink.
What happens when the bug occurs? My sim would Tpose and the food will disappear.
What do you expect to see? Sims should not Tpose and should be able to eat and learn the recipe.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

Kidding aside, maybe it was just something odd that fixed itself while you played on and troubleshooted.
