Best UK gaming laptop for around £750-800?

@shan9214 I apologize for the late reply. I didn't see your post until today, which might mean it was temporarily caught in the spam filter, or maybe I simply missed it.
At any rate, the single most important detail here is the graphics card, which will be the limiting factor in determining how well these computers run most games. The laptops with an Nvidia RTX 4060 are a tier above the one with an RTX 3050 in terms of performance, but the 3050 will still run Sims 4 on ultra graphics settings even with all packs installed. So it's perfectly fine to go with a 3050 and save some money. I would avoid laptops with the slower RTX 2050 though. They're not much cheaper and somewhat slower.
I like this one a little better than the one you found due to a slightly higher build quality, and it has the same 16 GB RAM. 500 GB storage is more than enough for Sims 3 and 4 and Minecraft.

This is a viable alternative as well, in fact with a brighter, likely prettier screen (although that's somewhat subjective).
For the two laptops with an RTX 4060, they're about the same in terms of overall quality. The Gigabyte runs a bit hot and noisy but shouldn't be an issue for someone wearing headphones.
If you have more questions, or find another laptop and want a second opinion, please feel free to ask.
