Big, BIG problem with the BIG update PLEASE HELP!

Ok, trying to calm down to put this as succinctly as possible here: I went to update the game.  It told me it needed more space then I had available.  BUT?  It was also acting like I was RE-downlo...

    Never mind.  I was able to finally free up enough space on the computer to finish the update.  After which I uninstalled and then reinstalled my Sims4 game with only some of the additional content I have for it.  Thank you anyways to anyone who might have otherwise replied to try to help me out.

Please, will someone PLEASE help me?  I tried shutting down the EA app/launcher thing, then starting it back up again to see if that would then let me uninstall the game.  But no, it started back up again with the update download still where it paused because it says I don't have enough available disk space!  So if it won't let me uninstall and then reinstall my game, what can I do???
Please, I have a lot of anxiety and stress in my life and my Sims4 game is my escape from all that for a while.  I just really want to be able to play my game again!?!
