Bought SIMs4 on PC-DVD, verified product, now I must download game. WTF?!!!

I bought the original SIMs4 (PC-DVD) from CNA (South Africa). Damn expensive!

As per autorun file, I first verified the product on my ORIGIN/EA account.

Immediately the ORIGIN/EA console showed the product verified but it wants me to download the game.

I'VE JUST BOUGHT THE GAME - WHY THE HECK MUST I NOW PAY DATA CHARGES TO DOWNLOAD THAT WHICH IS BURNED ON THE GAME DISKS I JUST BOUGHT?!!!!

Surely there must be a way to install the game from the original product disks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing of value in all the docs that came on the game disks.

In-box literature, less than helpful.

(Also, the EA Live Chat facility, doesn't seem to work ... "you will be connected to a  EA Game Advisor in LESS than 5 minutes" ... LOL ! It's been around 25 minutes already and still no ADVISOR ...)
