Yeah, if repair doesn't work and removing user files, that's the next thing I would try.
It’s reinstalling now, I’ll check back and let you know if that works once it’s all finished!

I will try clean booting when my dad gets home from work next weekend (he is a computer professional)

there's a few problem with your computer.
The two main ones being that your graphics drivers are from 2012 and your hard drive is getting rather full.
Have your dad look at those two things.
