Broken UI (NO MODS, REPAIRED GAME)
I've been trying to fix this issue for three hours and I'm at my wits end. I have uninstalled all of my mods. I have repaired the game four times now. I created a new save file and rebooted, removed mods, and repaired the game and I'm still stuck with this broken UI.
I cannot edit the build, I can't even hit ESC to close the game, instead I have to open Task Manager and force close it over and over again.
Please help me!!!
RoseVante I take it the new save is also affected? Please let me know if it's not.
Otherwise, please delete any files in ConfigOverride, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.
If that doesn't help, please hover over the Build Mode icon and let me know what the tooltip says. And if it says something about game loading in progress, please list the location of the Sims 4 user folder, according to the game itself. Here's how to find it:
