Bug in the sims inventory.

Product: Os Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Português
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Expansions.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Inventory has problems.
What do you expect to see? A problem that needs fixing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have noticed that this problem was a long time ago in The Sims 4 every time I put my Sims to move some object that is in the inventory and then I save the game and I quit and then I go back to the game again, the bug object and then I can not remove this object from the inventory, like children with homework or when a sim is reading a book or moving the tablet or also when a sim is eating some fruit, those objects when you save the game they will automatically go to the inventory of the sims and with that they end up with problems and when I try to remove those objects from the inventory they bug and then I can not remove or sell those objects from the inventory.

This problem is very irritant.

    Hi @wallaosg

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    Also, what kind of mods where you using before removing ?

    I've done all that you're asking, from repairing and even starting the old save with new files, I've been having this problem for quite some time and with so many repairs I've already done in the game I should have already fixed it. I have also noticed that the problem is appearing a lot when you use the worlds manager to change family, I have 2 families in a same save and for example I change the first family by the second and then I go back to that first family and always have one yes doing random things like reading a book or children writing in the diary or doing homework, and these objects like the book and the homework are in the inventory and they end up kind of with a bug where afterwards I can not delete or remove those objects of the inventory.
