[BUG THREAD] The Sims 4 CAS Demo

@crinrict   i'm going to try something in the demo with one of your sims and see if it can be figured out how/why/ will edit this post

edit to add so far i haven't reproduced the issue but there is a flip side to it too i downloaded your sims and added to my sims i was working on in CAS tried some various things to see if the issue could be reproduced the flip side was i eventually deleted your sims in the CAS and kept mine to work on her to finish her off before uploading and now it states By crinrict,by you

(the sims in red) where one's i was creating on Saturday the 19th and had in the CAS to finish off ) strike that i may have reproduced something i just saved the girl i was working on then added your sims from my library to my CAS sim and saved it now says By you (me) as you can see in the 3rd image mine and your sims and now seen as created by me I've spent quite some time in the CAS about an hour, the bug ?? is reproducible it does flip back to created by-modified by

edit to add image 4 as i said earlier it does flip back and forth was trying again to reproduce and it has flipped back to me...off to delete some sims in my libiary now

there are already almost 60.000 households in the gallery and it's just a few days, some testers and only one age group so far... I am never going to find any Sim of interest in this huge crowd soon.

Don't know if there are more options for filtering the gallery content in the game. I'd really like to filter at minimum for gender and age group: I'd also like even more filters like "muscle" and "fat" (3 steps) to find special bodyshapes and "used face template" to filter for ethnic groups. Otherwise it'll take hours to find the interesting Sims.

Is it okay to post such wishes as well or bugs only?

I think the name filters for offensiveness is too restrictive. First time I had to rename a sim from Keekee to Kay so her family can be saved. Now I created the Hicks family from The Sims Unleashed and got the restriction message, can't share on the gallery because the last name was offensive. I know real Hicks families, along with real Kiki or Keekee. I don't think they would appreciate their names being offensive. LOL

I will report any other restriction if it helps.

HAH i beat ya blewis823  yep crin the restrictions a sim i named  had  an apostrophe  in her  name  upon which i got the mesage offensive you will not be  be allowed to upload to the gallery too tired to type it all out her's a pic instead , the same sim i removed the apostrophe   and i can save the sim so i agree with  you blewis823 , imo the restrictions are a bit OTT dare i say for now

@RellyJack I think it's best if you opened your own thread, stating the error you get in the title. Maybe some sees it and has some other suggestion.

Not sure if this is a bug or what, but today my CAS demo said it couldn't connect to the Gallery, so I exited and restarted. As it loaded, I got an error message from my computer:

"TS4CAS.exe Corrupt File"

"The file or directory" [my My Documents file] "is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility."

The CAS demo started right up and seems to be running fine, and I haven't run the Chkdsk yet (I hate doing that). I'm able to connect to the Gallery too. Just thought it might be worth reporting.

I am not sure whether it is a bug or was made on purpose but I have noticed that there are a few clothing items that appear only in the general category (e.g. "tops") but they cannot be found in any sub-category. Here are links to the pics(I have no idea how to insert pics directly in the post, sorry) of the clothing items that don't fall under any sub-category:

not sure if i understand right BUT anyways the clothing does seem to be categorised each type of clothing day wear etc  for  say i want my sim to wear his/her PJ's for   every day and your pic outfit 1 as party or formal  hit the X to stop the filter i can then scroll through the outfits to select different ones for each occasion

click on the sim for the clothing catagory to open up then select full body then the full body outfits should show to select as in this case for the sim i choose PJ's are her everday wear now from the full body catagory then i select the next one formal wear i click on the X to stop the filter

 for all the outfits to appear then i can choose outfit 1 for formal etc outfit 1 as per your image for formal

Help! I cannot get a household to save because I'm getting the message: 

"Warning! A Family Name, Sim Name, or Description currently contains a disallowed word. You will not have the ability to later upload this Household to the Gallery. Do you want to proceed anyway?"

Two of the Sims I had saved and uploaded before: "Sam Winchester" and "Dean Winchester." The third Sim was named Castiel Angel, but I have tried changing it to "Castiel Winchester," "Placeholder Winchester," and "Safe Safe." I erased the description, although it had been allowed before. I have tried various family names, including "Supernatural," "Winchesters," and "Safe." I tried rolling the dice for name suggestions for all three sims, renaming them suggestions like "Justin Henderson," and naming the family "X" and "Safe." There are no punctuation marks or non-letter characters in any of the names.

First, if I do the "proceed anyway" to make sure I don't lose all my CAS work, will the Sims be unable to be uploaded forever, even if I later rename everything, as the warning makes it sound? I really want to save!

Second, is this a bug? None of the words seems like it could be the problem!
