I've noticed that my build mode in Sims 4 works, but when i buy an item it charges me and nothing appears. Another random but weird thing is that all of the lights in my house disappeared so I'm not sure what's going on. I don't have any mods.

@Reaganw10 Try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.
If that doesn't fix both issues, please let me know whether your computer runs Windows or macOS.
