Build mode broken following recent update

After the update I've been unable to work within build mode. I try and add a house from the gallery and edit and I can't delete anything or add anything. Tried adding stairs and got an op error. Tried bulldozing the whole thing and hit ok to bulldoze and nothing happened. I have never worked with custom content or mods so it has nothing to do with those.
