Life and Death Wall Texture
For some reason, the "Sinister Stones With Accent" wall texture does not cover properly on walls with this specific configuration (single box that extends in an "L"). the left side loads properly as shown in the lefthand portion of the photo. The center photo shows the error, and the left-hand side shows how it may be "fixed". Another "fix" is to delete the wall section that forms the "T", opening the single-space box, but for my build that little box is necessary and so I had to sacrifice the way that the rooms were split as shown in the right-hand picture. Originally I wanted them to be split directly in the middle of the "box", but the wall texture wouldn't load correctly without turning the "T" at that intersection into an "X". I tested this on other walls, on walls that weren't connected with curved walls at all, and I tried completely rebuilding the room, including completely separately from the rest of the house, and I have also run the game with mods on and off, and nothing has seemed to fix this. Hope the devs see this because it's really frustrating!
downloaded game and packs will not run to play
I recently downloaded the game and all expansion packs I own, every time I go to play it loads to a blank white screen. I have no mods, and plenty of storage. My wifi is weak in the area where computer is but I have the ext in the same room and running on either helps none.
Sims 4 household taking too long to load
Recently, after the Sims 4 patch, my game has been acting up, specifically, it's taking a while to load Lemme explain after creating a new household, and I click to play, it'll take about 10 minutes to even show me the world menu after it finally shows i'll click a lot to play on and it won't even load up I've tried deleting mods, localthumbcache & 50/50 method nothings working i'm literally just thinking about quitting because before the update i just had to update some mods and delete some as well i can't pin-point the exact issuepop up telling me a build item has been removed because I don't own it
I opened my game for the first time in a while and got this pop up message, telling me one build item has been removed because I don't own it? I have no idea what item it's referring to, or how I could suddenly not own something on the same account that I've been using for years Anyone know how to fix this?
WASD and arrow keys not working for navigation
Since the Update that i installed a few days ago, the WASD and Arrow keys wont work for the navigation of the camera. i have tried reparing the game, i have tried redownloading it, i have tried resetting the settings, but neither the sims 4 cam nor the sims 3 cam seem to work with WASD or the Arrow keys, even tho things like pressing T for Top-down-View and G for enableing or disabling the grid still work just fine. Navigation with mouse also works fine but especially in build mode its a hassle. I also dont have any mods installed. Does anyone have an idea? (I have recently purchased the Lovestruck bundle, the Kitchen clutter, sleek bathroom and country kitchen)Sims 4 stuck on legacy edition (v1.115)
No matter what I do, Sims 4 is stick on 1.115.216.1030. I am on a brand new Windows 11 PC with more than enough specs. Here's everything I've tried Clean uninstall of EA App, Sims 4, and all cache and config files Reinstalled VC++ Runtimes (x64 and x 86) Tried on my original EA account which i have several packs I've purchased Create a new EA account (still downloads 1.115) Installed Sims 4 via steam - installs legacy My EA Help case (213562070) is stuck and I can't resume it to get help. Please can someone help to reset the correct game version to my EA account or to unlink the Legacy edition? ThanksSims 4 not loading
Hey guys! I've had this issue for about a month and a half and I don't have any solutions. Every time I try to play my Sims, the game freezes before it even loads. The music still plays like normal, but all I see is the starting blue screen before the Sims 4 logo pops up. I have no mods installed and have almost every one of the additional packs. I have deleted the caches for the game, have even set the Fullscreen back to 0, but nothing is working. Unfortunately, when this happens, I have to force restart my PC laptop to close the game. I believe there have been two SIms updates and one EA update during the duration of the issue and nothing has changed. Is anyone else having this issue? Please help, I'm really missing my Sims.
Game through app won't update
I'm trying to update my game (EA App), but I've used the Help > App Recovery feature and reinstalled both the EA App and the game itself. However, I'm still on an outdated game version, 1.111.102.1030. I also tried deleting GameVersion.txt, Config.log, and Options.ini files from the Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder. Then I started the game once, closed it, and checked to see if the EA app prompted me to update, but it did not. I also tried just downloading the Steam version of the game, and got to the same game version, I'm assuming, because I can't get the EA app to update the outdated version.
Mouse Drifts
No matter what I do, my mouse begins to drift as soon as I start up the game. I have mods and have tried both disabling and removing them all, and keeping them on. I disabled all overlays (EA app, Steam, Discord), and I still experience the mouse drift. I tried changing the mouse as well as unplugging and plugging in the mouse, including into a different port. No other game causes me these issues. It's making the game unplayable.
