Build mode freezes completely...what do I do?/sims 4

My game works perfectly fine up untiI I go into build mode .The whole screen freezes and I cant access nothing. The bar for the furniture doesn't even show, and when I try to exit game through the 3 ...

Well first try taking out the entire mods folder, just place it on your desktop and test the game without.

I took out all my mods and the game worked normally but when i placed them back it was buffering again in buildmode.. does this mean we can't play with mods anymore????

    add them back in a few at a time.. if it works with some..keep those, then add a little more. I sort mine by date.. I begin adding those that have the earliest date.. then once I get to the latest date I'll add those a little at a time.. then I'll start figuring out what messed it up. I wish McCommand would work but I think it messes up some games.. my laptop works with MC command but my desk top does not for now. There also could be mods incompatible with it.
