Build mode menu isn't working 😭
Hello my fellow simmers! I recently purchased Island Living, Get Famous, and Movie Hangout and my game was working fine. But i shortly noticed that the audio was making a sort of popcorn sounding effect, so I repaired the game through origin and the sound was gone. But now everytime i go into build mode, the objects by room menu doesn't show and i can't purchase nor select items from the menu to put in my game. I've repaired the game multiple times and it still won't work. I've tried updating the files and it still won't work. I need help!😭😭
@cocoabeesims Please move your entire Sims 4 user folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything yet; just see whether Buy mode is back to normal. Let me know either way.
If this fixes the problem, you may have an outdated mod, for example Better Build/Buy. You can test your mods and custom content in batches in the new Sims 4 folder, or use teh 50/50 method if you have a lot of files to get through.
