Built a hospital but it's not functional

I built a hospital with a science lab and cafe but it's not functional. I can make my Sim a doctor but how do I get them to use the hospital or is there a separate venue a doctor can use? Also, my Sims get sick and you give me doctor build things but no venue or ability to heal them.

You can rebuild the hospital that is there but you can't use it on a different lot. You'll be transported there automatically if you work in that career.

You can also not mix the more than one venue type.

Sick Sims don't go tot he hospital. You can buy medicine on the computer to heal them.
