Bulldozing loading screen

I wanted to make my sims a new house so I tried to bulldoze their old lot but now the games been stuck on the loading screen for over 20 minutes. I've tried to close the game, close my laptop and log...

    @Z201Z  At this point, you need to force close the game and reload.  Hit crtl-alt-delete, bring up the Task Manager, highlight the Sims 4 entry, and click the End Task button.  Restart your computer—don't close and open the lid, do a real restart—before trying to play again.
