My game is glitching but other games arent.

Okay so my sims 4 game is no longer working. It’s strange. I’m attaching a screenshot to show you what is happening. I thought it was my video card but it isn’t. Unless somehow, sims 4 is more graphically intensive than Elden Ring, World of Warcraft, and others. I do have mods but the mods were working fine a second ago. Mods have never done this before. I do have my graphics driver updated. If you look at the screenshot you can barely see that it’s like it’s pixelated and blown up WAY too big. When I hover over it with my mouse it looks fine. When I click on it it’s bizarre and pixelated. I turned off nvidia overlay, steam overlay, EA overlay, everything I could and nothing is helping. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

Edit: I removed all my mods just to be sure. Also, this happens with Skyrim too. I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m hoping someone has had this happen before and knows how to fix it. Seems to be older games this happens with.

  • theyhavefallen29  When you say your graphics driver is updated, do you mean it's actually new, or only that you clicked a button to check for updates?  If it's the latter, you could still have an old and incompatible driver, and that's the usual cause of what's in your screenshot.

If the driver is in fact the newest available for your GPU, or you're not sure, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
