Bulldozing restaurant lot deletes all staff

@DeenaHax After bulldozing, did you go to live mode without the required objects for the lot to be considered a restaurant?

I tried this in my game and the problem was not bulldozing for me, but bulldozing and then going to live mode with the lot empty (I got a message warning me that I had not the required objects).

I tried to bulldoze, and then build a new restaurant with the required objects, and my staff was still there when I went to live mode.

I'm going to move this to the general forum as I don't think it's a bug.

I was missing one item (waiter station) once I got into live mode after construction. I saw the warning and hopped back into build mode to add. It was after I added it, I noticed the icon still showed I was missing something - that's when I noticed all my staff was gone.

@DeenaHax Ok, to get your staff back, try this:

1. Take a look to the sims the game gives you as an option to hire. These sims will probably be sims you don't care about (you don't know them, your sims don't have a relationship with them) as the game probably just created them.
2. Go to Manage World, and then to Manage Households.
3. Delete the sims that the game gives you as an option to hire now and you don't mind losing (they will be unhoused, so keep that in mind to search more easily).
4. Find the sims that were your employees before, those you had already trained, and unhouse them (by your first post I understand you had them in a house). Also make sure they are not marked as "played"/"active".
5. Go back to your restaurant and try to hire them. If you don't get all your ex-employees as an option, you will have to repeat the deleting process.
6. Once you have hired all of them, put them in a house again to protect them.

So it kinda worked but not really. I was able to get the staff back in the pool of potential employees but not as the positions they had. I'm guessing this is linked to most staff having low skill to start. For example, my maxed out chef only shows under waiter and hostess.
