@elejaydubu If you installed your game on an external drive device your limitation will be the speed of the drive and the USB transfer rate. The spec I looked at showed a USB 3.2 Gen 1 which maxes at 10 Gbps data transfer. This speed is impacted by the speed of your external hard drive. A SSD is preferable to a spinning disk as they have a much faster seek rate.
It will still have a bit of lag due to the external data and the 4GB memory on the PC.
If finances allow, a new PC might prove the better option.
