@Blackbird0318 Does your computer run Windows or macOS? Are you using the Sims 4 or Sims 3 camera, and does it help to switch to the other and revert to the original? Please quit and reload the game after switching and before reverting.
I run on Windows. I believe it's the Sims 4 camera that's messed up (I'm at work now). I cannot rotate the camera using the mouse's center scroll button. When I try it does nothing. I've switched between Sims 3 and Sims 4 cameras. It still will not work. I've already tried repairing the game and am at a loss. Could this be a bug??

@Blackbird0318 Please test once you're back in front of your computer, and let me know which actions work with each camera (Sims 3 and 4), quitting and reloading after switching between them and before you test again.
This isn't a game bug, or there would be more reports. It might be the result of an overlay interfering, or a problem with your mouse, or something else entirely.

@Blackbird0318 An overlay is a user interface for an application that sits over the top of another app. It's typically transparent to some degree, and it's most often used for gaming, where you might want to see other information without having a second window open. Most or perhaps all game launchers have an overlay, the EA App and Steam included, as do some other apps like Discord that people might want to interact with while gaming.
The EA App in-game overlay can be toggled under Settings > Application. Steam's can be disabled in settings as well. Discord's won't be active if Discord itself isn't running, but make sure it's not running in the background. The same goes for other apps: if they're not running, neither is their overlay.
