Can’t become a fairy

I have the Enchanted by Nature DLC and I’ve done everything my sim needed to do to become a fairy, but when I click on the “Become a Fairy” option on the pond it automatically cancels the task and shows the “can’t walk here” thought bubble… what do I do? 

also I have no mods at all installed.
