@VampireLuna3 Try reinstalling the game to a new location. There might be a faster way to fix this, but looking for that faster way would likely take more time than simply reinstalling. Do a clean uninstall first (of both Sims 4 and the EA App), as described here:
It's important to create a new folder into which you'll install Sims 4. That folder can be on D, that's fine, but installing directly to D:\ might be the issue here.
Please leave your antivirus disabled when reinstalling the EA App and Sims 4, and don't reenable it until you've tested the game once, if you can get that far.

I just uninstalled everything and tried downloading to a new location but now I can’t even download the Sims4 at all😞 do you know how to fix? Thanks

@VampireLuna3 What happens when you try to install the game? If you get an error, please post a screenshot of it.

I get no error pop up. The download just won’t go past preparing installing 2%.
