Hey,
Have you tried the following? I found it on another AnswersHQ forum post, maybe it's gonna work for you aswell:
- Open Internet Explorer (even if you have another default web browser installed!) and go to www.Origin.com but do not login. Click the little gear wheel in the top right corner of the browser.
- Click Internet Options
- Click Security Tab
- Click Trusted Sites
- Click Sites in the little box
- A window should pop up & you need to have the origin web address (www.origin.com) in the 'add this website to the zone' box.
- Click Add
- Click Close
Hope it works for you aswell! Give it a try.

Hey,
Thanks for that, unfortunatley it didn't work for me ☹️ It's still coming up with the same error message. I think my last options are to either wait for the expert team to get back to me, but i'm not sure how long that could take. Or call EA support themselves and have my phone bill haye me.
Thanks for trying to help though, much appreciated.

I don't know if this will help either, but its telling me to install vcredist_x64 and vcredist_x86. I have the 86 one but every time I click on it, it tells me to repair it, I've done that but it comes up with the repair button again :/ and the 64 one it says that I can't get it on my computer as its only available on windows XP sp1 and newer platforms but I have XP sp3
