Can only play offline?
So, I have been having trouble playing TS4 the last two days, but played fine on launch day. All of a sudden I was not able to load past the plumbob starting screen until I completely unplugged my PC from the internet. The game doesn't work with just Origin offline, it still freezes on the loading screen. Before figuring this out I literally tried EVERY solution/suggestion on this forum and spoke to tech support twice and nothing resolved the issue until unplugging from the interwebz. ALSO My husband can play online no problem and he's literally right next to me. Can't figure this out. Anyone know how to fix this?
If your internet plan isn't limited. You could make a backup (or rename) of the "Sims 4" folder in the directory "C:\Users\[User name]\Documents\Electronic Arts\" and reinstall the game. Try again to load the game in Online mode, if that works okay, replace the folder in the directory mentioned before with the old "The Sims 4" folder to get your saves back.
