Can this laptop run The sims 4??

@PaulaBerti  I wouldn't recommend this laptop for Sims 4 if you have better options available.  The graphics chip will be the limiting factor most of the time, and with most or all packs installed, I'd expect the limit to be low-medium graphics settings.  That doesn't mean you can't play, of course, just that high settings would probably not be possible unless you were okay with the game being choppy and sometimes slow to respond.

If you'd like me to look for other options, please list your budget and country as well as any other details that matter to you.  For example, maybe you'd prefer a certain screen size or weight.

If you'd prefer to do your own shopping, the processor is the key in this price range: it determines which graphics chip you get and therefore what kind of graphics settings you could use.  Try to find something with an Intel i5 1135G7 or and AMD Ryzen 5 or 7 5000-series (5500U, 57000U, etc.).  A Ryzen 7 4800U would be good as well; an R5 4500U would be a little slower but still fine.  Most Intel i5 and i7 12th-gen options are as good as the 1135G7, but make sure you see "Xe Graphics" in the specs.

Hey! Thank you so much for answering! My budget would be a maximum of 400 US dollars. Shipping would be to the United States, so I think Amazon is the best place, right? I know my budget isn't the biggest and I wouldn't be upset if I couldn't find anything that runs The Sim 4 on high settings. A laptop that runs on medium would be enough for my budget.

I found some other options but I don't know if it makes much difference. For example, RAM memory is less, but they are overall the same price

    @PaulaBerti  Among these options, the Dell 🏀 has the fastest graphics chip, with the Lenovo (4) being a reasonably-close second.  The HP has a weaker processor with a weak graphics chip, and although the Acer's processor is the best of the group, AMD created lower-end graphics chips in these models for reasons I don't understand.  Since the graphics chip will be the limiting factor, that makes the choice easy.

    Walmart is usually the best option when shopping for laptops in this price range.  It's not that all the prices are great, but there's almost always something decent on sale, and all you need is one good option.  Case in point:

    The first is marginally better than the second in that its graphics chip is a few percentage points faster in gaming.  But that's not enough to win out if you like the second one for other reasons.
