can u transfer game to new pc,no internet & keep old patches only
I don't know if I can explain this well but I'll try: I have base game and GTW expansion only, on a weak computer. and I haven't updated the game since 07/10/2018 and I don't want to, because it will mess up cc, so I play offline always now.
But I wanted to get a new desktop pc in future so game can run better, so I can acutally PLAY the game for more than a few minutes without crashing, (I don't run game on low settings). instead of only using my game to create houses/sims/and story pics.
I figure I have to use internet and download origin with the new PC, but after that, can I unhook internet, and transfer my old sims 4 game with flash stick to the new computer without having to go online with it again, so it won't update, (i don't want the newer updates), and will I still have the old patch updates saved from my old game from old computer? like toddler patch for example. are the old patches/updates, saved to my 'sims4 saves' file in documents?
I don't want to download sims 4 again from origin, I just want to transfer my old game, so the game won't update the newer updates, and still keep my older patches,
so can I do that? and how? by copy/pasting the entire sims 4 file, starting with copy paste of 'Electronic Arts' folder?
or do I HAVE to connect to internet to activate it again and the new patches will get forced on my game? I don't want that. can someone help clarify?
