Can you have Sims 4 from Origin and Steam on the same PC?

Can you have Sims 4 from Origin and Steam on the same PC? My daughter has played Sims 4 on the family PC for years through the Origin Client. My son gets Sims 4 on Steam and I install it via the Stea...

@The_Milkydrink You can install both but Origin only recognizes the one that was installed later and since you need Origin for the Steam version, I don't think what you want will work on the same computer.

Maybe try get a refund for steam and get it on Origin instead ? It would be a bit tedious to reinstall the game each time they want to switch.

Do they own the same packs or different ones ?
