Can you make NPC's live on your lot??

I'm just wondering if you install a mod that allows you to have more than 8 sims living on a lot at one time, if you make those sims NPC's, will they still live on your lot?? I want to make a univers...

Closest to this i can think of is using nraas master controller and master controller cheats. Any sim can be assigned to become a roommate. There is also the option to add roommates from one of the expansion packs (i think) , thats under real estate options on your phone. 

Nraas has many useful mods to fully be as much of a controlfreak (or as little) as you want. Google them

I dont now if naming mods is allowed.

NRAAS do not exist on the Sims 4 and back in 2017 there were no roommates.

    Oops. Didnt check sims verzion this was about cause i came from a google search results with sims 3 in query and assumed it was sims 3.. 

    Another reason for me to stick to sims 3. No Nraas.😳
