I asked Microsoft help, they said I’m good to go. I am afraid to spend money and turns out it doesn’t work. (Low specs)
- @AD-170881 that cpu is below minimum specs
Weird! Microsoft said it’s fine to run it on low specs. As the M3 processor is not available!
thanx anyways- @AD-170881 Intel core I3 can run it on low-medium though how much you looking to spend on a laptop?
@AD-170881 Do you have this laptop already? If not, and you're looking to buy, feel free to list your budget and country and ask for alternate recommendations. If you do already own the laptop, it might be okay, but no better than that.
While the processor's integrated graphics chip is under the minimum requirement for Sims 4, you could probably play the base game on low settings, especially at a reduced in-game resolution. There's not much harm in trying, as long as the laptop can properly cool itself, but make sure that it can. (Play on a flat surface, and quit if it gets too hot.)
Check how much free storage your laptop has though. 128 GB total isn't a lot, and the base game alone takes up about 16 GB. I wouldn't install it unless I had at least 40 GB free beforehand, although you can technically get away with less. You can see free storage by opening a File Explorer window and clicking This PC in the left panel.
If you try out the game and it runs poorly or not at all, you can get a refund from EA within 24 hours of the first time you launched it, that is if it hasn't been more than 14 days since you bought it (and if you buy from Origin).

Thank you very much guys. I don’t own it yet, was planning to get it today, but I will upgrade to the M3 processor rather than the pentium Gold. Worth it I guess.
much appreciated, stay well y’all.
