Cancel Sims 4 Pre-order?

Hello,

I pre-ordered the Sims 4 a few minutes ago (from the official Sims website), until I saw only "PC download". Usually when I bought a Sims 3 [digital] game it said "PC/Mac download". For the Sims 4 it said "PC"; it didn't include Mac (I have a Mac, not a PC). Should I cancel my pre-order? If so, how do I do that? I really don't want to lose $75 for a game I can't play.

The version you can preorder now is not for mac. It's possible they're making a native one like they did for SimCity. I do think you should cancel it at this point.

If your order is still processing, you can still cancel it.

Follow the following steps

Go to your order history

If the status is processing you can click on the + sign

You should then see a blue cancel link which you can press to cancel.

Click confirm

It should then show as canceled.

If if it's not processing anymore, do as thisaint posted and cancel once it's out or contact a game advisor.

You may return EA full game digital downloads (PC/Mac) purchased on Origin for a full refund within 24 hours after you first launch the game, within seven days from your date of purchase or within seven days from the game's release date if you pre-ordered, whichever comes first. This is in addition to your standard return or refund rights.

Here's how:

Visit your Order History and select the "Request a Refund" link next to any eligible product.
Complete and submit the Refund Request Form.
You'll get a response within 48 hours and your refund within 10 days if you meet the refund criteria.
DLC and non-EA games purchased on Origin are excluded from the Great Game Guarantee. So, this is a guarantee for full game (a.k.a. "base game") digital downloads published by EA for now, including full games on pre-order and most full games on promotional discount.

Just as your name says sir, you are a hero. I was able to delete sims 4 cats and dogs and then i can buy it for real(I had pre bough it), and it didn't work, and i couldn't play it, and finally while reading your thing i was able to figure it out. Thank you.
