cannot place content because it was created with a newer version of the game

I've downloaded a few cc lots like the von haunt estate wedding venue one and when i go to place it i cant click the thingie?? and if i hover above it it says: "cannot place content because it was c...

Hi @jessicamxrcos 

is your game all updated to 1.51.77 ?

You can check on the main screen at the button.

Is that the only venue you have issues with or with all of them ? Can you place lots from the gallery ?

I’ve tried multiple times to update it, and every time it’s finished. I check back and it still says “Cannot place content because it was created with a newer version of the game.” Is it because of the Sims 4 Legacy Edition? If so, how would I fix it?

    @aluu08 

    If you run the Legacy Edition then you can not use CC created after the November update.

        Legacy edition do not support anything newer than its release date.
