Cannot save because "Game Loading is in progress"

I am also stuck.. there's nothing I can do. ☹️ Can't save, can't go into build mode.. nothing. I can play, but have to exit out of game completely without a save. Pointless. This just started last night. I've never had any problems until I loaded Cats & Dogs xpac. ☹️
